Overview
It’s never been simpler or easier to monitor in-store assets. Video Article Surveillance™ automatically observes behaviors and monitors merchandise issuing alerts for such behaviors as:
- Movement of a high-value asset
- Removing excessive amounts of merchandise from a single area
- A person spending excessive amount of time in an aisle or near specific merchandise or restricted areas
Through a simple user interface, store personnel can select an unlimited number of assets. Video Article Surveillance then watches those assets and informs store staff when they are moved. There is no way to remove, alter or defeat Video Article Surveillance’s protection. The shrink deterrence factor becomes even stronger when potential thieves determine that they system cannot be defeated. Because it notifies store personnel within seconds of selected merchandise being moved, it enables them to respond quickly before a shoplifter has time to remove the merchandise from the store.
